Sixteen Latin American countries take center stage in this album with a rich variety of flavors.

A rich and diverse selection of 19 traditional songs and nursery rhymes performed in Spanish takes us on a joyful, colorful journey. The authenticity of the voices and instruments brings to life the power and joy contained in this repertoire, passed down from one generation to the next. The collection, wonderfully illustrated, tender and moving, at times funny and playful, steeped in folk art, features the original lyrics followed by a French translation Mariana Ruiz Johnson studied fine arts and illustration in Argentina. She has published several children’s books, including *Sleep Tight*, which won an award in 2015 at the prestigious Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Most of her picture books have been translated into French: *Mon imagier - cherche et trouve* (2018, Hatier), *La reine panda ne dort pas* (2017, Bélin), *Bon voyage, Maman* (2016, Alice Éditions), *L’enfant du jardin* (2015, Gallimard), and *Le livre des mamans* (2014, Circonflexe). Grupo Cántaro is a Mexican musical ensemble founded in 1979 that has been dedicated since its inception to composing, arranging, and performing children’s songs.

The group has released seven albums, the most recent being *Fábulas de mi granja* (Fables from My Farm).
